WPMobile agency pack: 10 white-label WordPress apps

The WPMobile agency pack addresses a straightforward need: when an agency, freelancer or WordPress studio expects to create several applications for customers, buying licences one by one is not necessarily the most economical model.

The pack includes 10 Android + iOS licences for €1,790 excl. VAT, which currently works out at €179 excl. VAT per application. It does not add a special WPMobile edition or an agency-only dashboard: it is deliberately the same product with the same features, purchased in volume at a discount.

Ten full licences, not a different version of the product

Each licence in the pack is equivalent to a standard Android + iOS licence. The app can be generated for both platforms and includes notifications, updates and white labelling just like an individually purchased licence.

There are therefore no features artificially locked behind the agency pack. An agency does not have to learn a second tool or manage a special infrastructure. WPMobile continues to work in the same way: one WordPress website, its plugin and the associated application.

The difference is financial. An individual Android + iOS licence is currently listed at €239 excl. VAT, while the pack brings the cost down to €179 excl. VAT per app. As prices may evolve, the WPMobile pricing page remains the reference.

The ten licences do not need to be used immediately

The pack does not require all ten applications to be created on the day of purchase. An agency can buy the bundle because it expects several projects over time, then use the licences as customers actually need them.

There is no deadline forcing the final licence to be used within a few months. If the tenth app is only created two years later, that is not a problem. This flexibility prevents the discount from turning into an artificial sales target where ten customers must be found before an expiry date.

The pack therefore makes the most sense for an established WordPress activity: website maintenance, online shops, media, communities or business websites where a mobile presence may occasionally add real value.

Each application can belong to a different customer

Buying licences in bulk does not mean that all ten apps must remain attached to the same end customer. The agency can purchase the pack on its account and later ask me to redistribute a licence to an individual customer’s WPMobile account.

This is useful when the agency handled the initial configuration or sold the service but then wants the customer to have their own access. There is no need to design a rigid account structure on day one: licences can be distributed as projects progress.

Each app can also be published using a different Apple Developer or Google Play account. This is actually the approach I prefer: a customer’s application is published on that customer’s account, not on my WPMobile account and not necessarily on a shared store account owned by the agency.

White labelling lets the agency sell its own service

WPMobile does not appear in the published application seen by end users. The app name, icon, colours, screenshots and store listing belong to the project. Full white labelling is included, even outside the agency pack.

This gives the agency freedom to build its own offer: app creation, mobile website preparation, store publication assistance, visual assets, WordPress maintenance or customer support. WPMobile can remain a technical component of the service rather than the brand sold to the customer.

The plugin is normally still visible inside WordPress administration. For agencies wanting a fully branded back office, further customisation through a must-use plugin can be considered to hide WPMobile and replace some labels with the agency name. This is handled directly with me and may involve additional fees depending on the requirement. I explain the distinction in more detail in the article about white-label WPMobile apps.

No WPMobile subscription to pass on to the customer

The pack keeps the standard WPMobile licence model: payment is made once. There is no monthly or annual WPMobile subscription required to keep the app running.

For an agency, this makes the commercial model easier to choose. It can invoice app creation once, include it in a broader project or sell its own recurring maintenance when it is genuinely providing an ongoing service. The WPMobile licence cost does not force the agency to invent a subscription simply to cover a monthly software bill.

WPMobile costs should of course be distinguished from external costs. Developer accounts required for publication remain Apple and Google’s services, with their own pricing and conditions. Customers publishing on their own accounts are responsible for those platform fees.

The pack is mainly useful for agencies already working with WordPress

Buying ten licences makes little sense for an agency that only encounters a mobile-app requirement once every few years. The value appears when an existing portfolio of WordPress sites regularly includes projects where a WebView app is a good fit: a WooCommerce shop, media website, community, user-facing intranet or frequently accessed service.

It also does not mean every customer should be sold an app by default. Some websites simply do not need one. A sensible agency offer is about identifying projects where home-screen installation, push notifications or store presence provide a concrete benefit.

Before using a licence, the website can be tried in the free demo application. This lets the agency review the mobile experience with the customer before presenting publication as the obvious next step. If the website is not pleasant to use in the demo, improving the WordPress experience first is usually the better decision.

A licence pack rather than a complex reseller programme

The pack is deliberately simple. There is no partner certification, Silver or Gold tier, monthly quota or additional sales portal. An agency buys ten discounted licences, uses them when needed and can ask for them to be redistributed to customer accounts.

This simplicity also leaves more freedom in the commercial relationship. Some agencies will only provide the app. Others will include website preparation, WooCommerce notifications, store publication and ongoing support. WPMobile does not dictate how that service should be packaged or sold.

The current pack is listed at €1,790 excl. VAT for 10 Android + iOS licences. For a specific requirement, particularly white-labelling the WordPress plugin or discussing a different volume, contacting me before purchase is the simplest option.
